Information Used

TrialDaily may use the following to provide the app features described on this page:

  • requests for today's curated briefing, search results, and archive entries — anonymous, carrying no identifier beyond the bearer token the API requires
  • a search query if you type one, which is never logged against a device
  • an Apple-issued subscription receipt if you tap Restore purchases, forwarded to Apple for validation and then discarded
  • your language choice, subscription state, and a cache of the most recent briefing, stored on your device only

Storage

TrialDaily stores a few preferences on your device — your chosen language (English or 简体中文), your subscription state, and a small cache of the most recent briefing so it loads instantly when you reopen the app. You can clear these from Settings → Reset inside the app, or by deleting the app. There is no TrialDaily account, no profile, and no per-reader record on the server; the backend serves the same briefing to everyone.

Permissions

No microphone, camera, contacts, location, calendar, health, or photo library permissions are requested. Network access fetches today's briefing, search results, and archive entries. Notifications are optional and deliver the daily reminder on your device; you can turn them off in iOS Settings. App Tracking Transparency is not requested. TrialDaily does not use IDFA or any cross-app tracking identifier.

Sharing

TrialDaily collects nothing about you, stores nothing about you, and sells nothing about you. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no telemetry of any kind. Requests to the server carry no identifier tied to you, and IP addresses are not logged against the content you read or retained after a request completes. Subscription receipts are sent to Apple for validation. Source material comes from public U.S. government datasets; following a source link opens that record in your browser and is governed by those sites' own policies.

Third Parties We Share Data With

  • Apple (Apple Inc., United States) — Processes TrialDaily Premium purchases, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds through the App Store (StoreKit), and validates the receipt sent when you tap Restore purchases. Your payment details stay with Apple; the developer never receives them. Apple privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
  • ClinicalTrials.gov, openFDA, and the FDA newsroom (U.S. government) — The public sources behind every item in the app. TrialDaily's backend reads trial registrations, FDA drug approvals and enforcement records, and agency announcements on a schedule; the app itself never contacts them. No reader data of any kind is sent to them — the requests ask only for public records by date range and identifier.
