Use of the App
Use The Pair for software development on codebases you own or have permission to modify. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated code before committing or deploying it. The Pair is a development aid — always verify agent output. The Pair is not intended for users under 13.
Paid Features
The Pair is free and open-source under the Apache 2.0 license. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid features. AI provider costs are billed directly by the providers you choose to use.
Availability
The Pair requires macOS, Windows, or Linux with sufficient resources to run your configured AI agents. AI provider availability, rate limits, and costs depend on the providers you configure. Some features such as local model support require additional setup (e.g., Ollama).
